There are no hills steep enough for us to do this in Regent's Park. Maybe we need to reassess the location.

Hey!
This event is held in the village where I grew up! Its unbelieveable to see that it has become so popular. When I was a little girl it was all about your Dad getting drunk on too much cider and throwing himself down coopers hill for a laught, now people take it really seriously :->)

Perhaps you should relocate to Greenwich Park - that's got a great hill for rolling down!!!

What about the cheese??????

I think one of the most important questions is: do they eat the cheese after winning it???

I agree Greenwich park would be an ideal location if your fete were to incorporate an event of this kind! I used to live next to Greenwich park and remember reading that in olden times they used to have an annual fete/festival in Greenwich. It involved various events that utilised the hill, and apparently resulted in at least one death per festival......
