i'd like to know why we are confined yet again at a london event with the amount of alcohol we can bring in?? even if this is a non-profit making event i doubt the proceeds of the warm, overpriced and overrun Bars can cater for everyone. They never can. This is totally unfair and a ploy to get everyone to spend more money than neccessary.

Hello Stephanie

We don't think that the drinks won't be warm and overpriced - we've worked really hard to make sure that there's a decent and reasonably priced selection of beer/wine/Pimms etc for all (and smoothies too, of course).

And we hope that the fact that our fete is still an affordable day out for the whole family (compared to most other festivals) counts for something too.

Thanks, Dan

hello Dan,
I appreciate the answer and i really hope it will be reasonable, but on the whole nothing is ever reasonable in the UK let alone London. I look forward to it though and here's hoping it won't rain!
